Schools and Students Hit by Harvey Seek Donations of School Supplies

School districts and their students in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey are in urgent need of school supplies as they work to reopen in the aftermath. ASCE’s Southeast Texas Branch urges donations to Lamar University in Beaumont, which will distribute them.

Boxes must be marked ISD School Supplies, labeled with their contents, and addressed to:

  • My son is having his 6th birthday party in a couple of weeks and decided he din’t want gifts, but would like people to contribute helping schools affected by Harvey. I’m assuming schools are still in need of the supplies listed here, or would a monetary contribution be more helpful?
