The Phoenix Branch hosted a luncheon to recognize outstanding Branch achievements of the year.
The Small Project of the Year recipient was the Town of Wickenburg Ranch Water Reclamation Facility. The Large Project of the Year recipient was the City of Phoenix 27th Avenue Compost Facility.
Allan Smolko, P.E., M.ASCE, engineering supervisor with the City of Phoenix Streets Transportation Department, received the Government Civil Engineer of the Year award. Smolko has served the Arizona Section in several roles, including as president.
