Anthony S. Bartolomeo, P.E., M.ASCE, is the President and CEO of Pennoni Associates, a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia. Mr. Bartolomeo is a civil engineering graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in several states. He joined Pennoni in 1986 and has more than three decades of experience in environmental engineering, coupled with broad experience in the relationship development among the federal, state and local government levels, all of which have a stake in the success of major civil infrastructure projects. He has integrated the engineering and financial aspects of major projects into the legal, regulatory and community objectives, to the benefit of Pennoni’s diverse client base.

Mr. Bartolomeo serves as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of not-for-profit organizations in the Delaware Valley. He is a Board Member of the Philadelphia Academies, Inc.; a CEO Ambassador for 21st Century Skills; Chairman of the Board of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia; and a Board Member of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Bartolomeo was appointed by Mayor Michael Nutter as one of four co-chairs for the Philadelphia Council for College and Career Success, an organization charged by the Mayor with envisioning and developing citywide partnerships, strategies, and infrastructures to support youth attainment of 21st century skills and post-secondary education

With his strong belief in corporate responsibility to our planet and its environment, Mr. Bartolomeo serves as a leader in several organizations devoted to conservation and regeneration of our planet and its resources. He is Chairman of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and is a Founding Board Member and Finance Committee Chairman of the Philadelphia Global Water Initiative.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Bartolomeo has worked to improve the quality of life of his adopted Delaware Valley home through the giving of his time and talent to local organizations including the University City District, where he is a Board Member and sits on the Executive Committee, the Palmyra Cove Nature Center where he is a Board Member, the Boy Scouts of America Southern New Jersey Council where he sits on the Blue Ribbon Finance Committee, and the Knights of Columbus Sancta Familia Council.
