Tom R. Warne, P.E., founded Tom Warne and Associates in 2001 to provide strategic consulting services to the transportation industry. His areas of expertise include large project delivery, innovative project delivery methods, transportation finance and policy and dispute resolution. With over 33 years of experience in the industry Tom Warne is a sought after resource when complex or politically sensitive issues must be examined and solutions found. Tom Warne has chaired expert panels on such major projects as the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, the Columbia River Crossing and the SR 520 and Hood Canal Floating Bridges.
Prior to starting his firm, Tom Warne served as the Executive Director of the Utah Department of Transportation from 1995 to 2001 where he was responsible for the $1.325 billion I-15 Design Build Reconstruction project and the agency’s preparations for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. From 1983 through 1995 he served in various engineering positions at the Arizona Department of Transportation including three years as the agency’s deputy director/chief operating officer.
Tom Warne is a registered professional engineering in Arizona and Utah. He is the author of the book, Partnering For Success.
