Thomas Smith III

Tom Smith serves as the Society's executive director. A dedicated member of the American Society of Civil Engineers for more than 25 years and a civil engineer by training and education, Tom also holds a law degree. Before joining ASCE in 1997 as the association’s general counsel, he practiced law with a focus on land use issues.
