Honan's photo of the BNSF Railway's Foss River Bridge in Skykomish, WA,  that earned grand-prize honors in Trains Magazine's 2009 Photo Contest. "I had gone up there in the midst of a Cascade Range blizzard specifically to photograph this bridge at night, but I couldn't have imagined that in mid-storm the clouds would tear apart to let a 3/4-full moon shine onto the scene," Honan said.
